The Golden Collection - Art for Social Change

The Peace Meditation

THE PEACE MEDITATION - GOLD FOIL Here’s the latest stage of my lotus painting entitled the Peace Meditation, where I’m gently removing pieces of gold foil to let the painting truly come alive. It’s a delicate dance, one that teaches me patience and the beauty of unexpected outcomes. Being an artist is full of these moments – times of trial and error, the thrill of the unknown, and the joy of discovery. It’s not always easy, but it’s always a journey worth taking.

Peace Meditation

THE PEACE MEDITATION Original size: 14.5 x 10 Medium: Watercolour and Gouache May we embrace the intention of peace, to carry within us the calmness that we wish to see in the world, to become conduits of harmony, and to share the serenity we cultivate in our hearts.

The Golden Collection

THE RED BALLOON UTOPIA Size: 7 x 10.5 Medium: Watercolour and Gouache In this watercolour painting, a symbolic red balloon – reminiscent of Banksy's iconic imagery from circa 2002 (and even an earlier musical composition by Neena), representing love and hope – has journeyed across time and space. Floating over oceans and witnessing changing landscapes, it emerges again in 2023 within a serene setting of one of my Golden Collection paintings.

The 'Golden Collection' emerges as a transcendent assemblage of watercolour masterpieces, each piece a unique testament to the power of art as a vehicle for social commentary and activism. In this collection, the fluidity of watercolours intermingles with the gravity and potential of the subjects addressed, crafting a narrative that is as compelling as it is transformative. These artworks do not merely depict scenes; they invoke a dialogue, challenging the viewer to confront and contemplate pivotal concepts that have the capacity to reshape the trajectory of humanity's future.

The elegance of each stroke carries with it the weight of responsibility and the promise of enlightenment, making the 'Golden Collection' not just an exhibition of artistic prowess, but a beacon for societal introspection and change.
